Eggs - Earth - Energy

The Dire Carnivore Morning Routine

For the past three months, I've committed to a morning routine that has completely transformed how I feel, think, and show up in the world. It’s simple, costs almost nothing, and takes less than 15 minutes. Without question, the impact has been profound as I have more energy, sharper clarity, and a sense of vibrancy I haven’t felt in years.

At the core of this transformation? A handful of eggs and a deep connection with the earth, the breath, and the light. Most mornings start quietly and peacefully with a vibe like what the Grateful Dead once captured in a way only they could. If you know the Europe '72 version of Morning Dew, then you know that stillness. That reverence. That rising energy from the ground up.

Why Eggs?

Eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense, bioavailable foods on the planet. For the best nutritional benefit, I recommend choosing pasture-raised eggs whenever possible. They come from hens raised on natural forage, leading to higher levels of omega-3s, vitamin D, and overall richness.

That said, don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good as any eggs you can get your hands on will still provide a powerful nutritional boost. Start where you are, and upgrade when you can.

Packed with high-quality protein, healthy fats, and essential vitamins like B12, choline, and vitamin D, eggs have fueled my mornings without bloating, crashing, or cravings. I cook them scrambled, fried, poached, hard-boiled, or baked into egg cups with a little ham and chopped veggies. That bit of variety keeps it satisfying and enjoyable.

Morning Ritual (No Supplements, No Excuses)

The rest of my morning routine costs nothing. No apps, no powders, no gadgets. Just intentional movement, breath, prayer, and sunlight.

Here’s what it looks like:

1. Prayer (2 minutes)

Before anything else, I connect with God. I give thanks for another day and ask for strength, focus, and grace. This quiet pause sets the tone for everything.

2. Breathwork (5 - 6 minutes)

I follow the Wim Hof Method:

  • 30 deep inhales with natural exhales
  • On the last exhale, hold your breath until it becomes uncomfortable
  • Take a deep inhale and hold again, adding 5 seconds past discomfort
  • Repeat this cycle 3 times for a total of 90 breaths

👉 New to breathwork? Start with 3 sets of 5 breaths for a week or two, then build up gradually.

3. Grounding (while doing breathwork)

If possible, I do this outside with my bare feet touching the earth. This simple practice reduces inflammation, balances the nervous system, and reconnects you with the energy of the planet.

4. Sun Exposure (5 - 6 minutes)

Get sunlight on your skin and into your eyes (without staring directly at the sun). Morning light helps regulate your circadian rhythm, boosts mood, and signals your body that it’s time to thrive.

The Results?

I feel younger, more vibrant, and more grounded than I have in years. The mental fog is gone. My digestion is smooth. My focus is laser sharp. And I’m ready for anything before 7am even hits.

This morning ritual is simple. It’s sustainable. And it’s built on things you already have access to: your breath, your feet, your faith, and a few eggs.

Start with this routine if you’re looking to reclaim your energy and start your day with strength and clarity.

The 30-day carnivore challenge isn’t a trend. It’s a return to simplicity, strength, and the kind of eating our ancestors thrived on. It’s also the fastest way to find out what happens when you cut the junk and fuel your body with exactly what it was designed to run on.

There’s a reason why we feel more alive when our feet touch the ground, when the sun warms our skin, and when we sit across from someone we love sharing a meal made of simple, real food.

When most people think about getting stronger, they think weights. They think discipline, sacrifice, diet. Well, they’re not wrong, but what if I told you one of the most powerful tools for transforming your body and mind is already inside you?

We’re told that obesity, disease, depression, and chronic fatigue are just a part of life. That we should rely on pills instead of discipline. That processed food, distractions, and burnout are the “new normal.” That ends now.
